What’s included in the retreat package:
Your tutors for the weekend:
Trudi Wood - Trudi learnt to sew at an early age, mastering various stitched crafts including cross stitch, embroidery and dressmaking. After making her own clothes as well as ball gowns she was introduced to patchwork by a colleague. She has now been quilting for more than 25 years, and runs her own business Long Arm machine quilting and teaching.
Lucy Brennan - Lucy's passions are combining fabric, playing with quilt layouts and hand sewing. A quilter and blogger at 'Charm About You', she regularly teaches quilting classes and is a designer on The Sewing Quarter. Inspired by the history and varied techniques of patchwork and quilting, Lucy always has a few projects on the go! When she's not quilting Lucy can be found doing some embroidery.
Nicholas Ball - Nicholas is a fabric addict from Cardiff, South Wales. After graduating Art School in 2006, it would be some six years before the quilting bug bit. With a passion for improv quilting, Nicholas' aesthetic is an organic one, preferring to sew without the use of patterns or templates. He takes a lot of inspiration from natural world and his Vegetable Patch quilts showcase his love for liberated sewing.
